Austin Rauschuber

Software Engineer | Program Manager | Statistician | Singer

Hey! My name is Austin Rauschuber. I'm a senior at Purdue University studying Computer Science with a double major in Applied Statistics and a double minor in Mathematics and Organizational Leadership and Supervision.

When I'm not coding, I'm usually singing with the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, the gospel quartet Lighthouse, the barbershop quartet euFouria, or co-directing Purdue Musical Organizations: Acapella.

I am currently looking for full-time positions in software engineering, program management, or similar fields starting in the summer of 2016.

If you would like to reach me, I am available by email at arauschu@purdue.edu or on social media at any of the links included below.

Procedural Music Generator

Imagine that you were to list the greatest composers who ever existed. One might list greats like Mozart, Beethoven, or Bach. Imagine a future in which that list is instead comprised of algorithms and AI. This project comes nowhere near that future, but it's a young programmer's start to that dream.

This Procedural Music Generator takes a small selection of parameters such as genre and tempo, and uses those along with a seed to generate one of a near endless combinations of songs.

Buggy's TV Guide

Buggy's TV Guide is a simple desktop JAVA application for creating lists of all of your favorite upcoming shows. It allows you to search for your favorite shows, see all of their upcoming episodes, learn about the actors, and make your own TV guide. You can export your lists to iCal or share what you're watching through Facebook or Twitter.
